Ode to the Colonial First Ward
This is the place that I will write about how great the Colonial First ward has been to me. As I have mentioned in the past members of the ward here have been so incredibly great to me. they have reached out to me in ways that I had never experienced before. They have all been like older siblings to me. I love the great examples they are and I want to go forward with their legacy with me and knowing what I need to do to be more like them, not carbon copies but I want to showcase some of their traits in my life. I want to be selfless like Melanie and Dave. I want to be socialable like Sarah. I want to be accomidating like Miranda. I want to be strong like soo many of those out here. I want to be confident and the best that I am capable of being. These men and women have taught me so much and have inspired me to be a better person. I will forever remain changed for the better because of them. I am reminded of one of my favorite hymns which is "Each Life that Touches ours for Good" and I am reminded of the song from Wicked "For Good". Life here has been a lot like both of those songs so very much. But I am so glad that I have had these experiences and I will be a better person because of them.
Colonail First Ward was one of the greatest blessings so far in my life.
