EFY Salt Lake 3 Mighty Storm

"Jordin want's to get some witchu..."
-Kaitlyn Willis
Well this week my girls were very much focused on getting me married they played matchmaker at every opportunity they had. Well by the end of the week these girls all had a great sense of humor and they were close knit and they would have rather stayed up all night talking to each other and bouncing off the walls than doing anything else. This week I had my third dynamic and it proved to be a good thing. This week I had 18 boys in my company and 8 girls and really it was pretty awesome. So this company was a lot of fun. They liked to write songs during freetime and play with eachother. Maxwell and Austen are the best cocounselors I could have asked for. They were greata examples and helped my life easier by having great boys. Girls that is all I am saying I am so sorry! So this week we had the best Variety Show entry ever. Mike and Ty played the final act which was garbage can drumming. It was rockin awesome!!! Mighty Storm rocks!! I just remeber a lot of fun this week compared to previous weeks which balanced out a little bit better between fun and spirit. This week definetly had a lot of spirit but because of the boys to girls ratio and my cocounselors this week was just like fun all the time. PS I participated in 3 musical numbers this week, all on the same day! All of our company bore testimony except for 2, including those who claim to not have testimonies and a non-member. Maxwell sounds like a General Authority or God, depends on who you are talking to. And Austen just does what Maxwell does. I felt that my greatest experience for my personal growth during my EFY experience happened this week as I watched the girls I prayed and pondered about for hours share their testimonies and see them unify and work together and share their sweet spirits and amazing personalities with the company. This was a personal great accomplishment because I saw prayers being answered everywhere!!!

The Church is true and Heavenly Father loves you! Never forget that!!!

EFY Logan 1 Perfect Knowledge

P-E-R-F-E-C-T Knowledge
My Heart can't rest til then. Woah Oh!!!
So this was my second week as an EFY counselor and I felt that there were some things that I could have improved but there are always are. This week I was blessed with another ten amazing girls who were such a blessing in my life, had strong testimonies, were great friends to everyone in the group and helped unify the whole company. These girls I tell you are amazing! So these ten girls ALL participated in the variety show and most of my company participated in the variety show not lying we dominated the show. Nick, one of the boys, sang and played guitar to the song 1234 by Plain White Ts. My girls and some of Heidi's(one of my co's) girls and a few of Casey's(my other co) boys all performed a musical number entitled Life of Raindrop. Those same boys, Casey's, also performed an interpretive dance to Miley Cyrus song, I Can't Wait to See You Again. That was one of my favorite memories mostly because of the rain thatwe had that week and that my umbrella broke, actually it was broken in the dance by the boys and it was awesomely rockin awesome funny. So Gertrude Phalanges my umbrella now umbrelli died an honorable death. Check out my youtube videos for the actual video of all these events. All of my girls that week bore their testimonies and I was able to share experiences with them and grow along with them as I taught. This week was different than Salt Lake 1 because of the difference in girls but both weeks rocked.

Perfect Knowledge!!! I can't wait to see you again!!!

Sixth Ward Summer Activity

Oh Baby Blue!!!
Elisa Tittle, McKinzie Mower and I all drove up to Logan together. This was a super great bonding experience. I love those 2 girls so very much. We had a super great time on the drives. So our first stop was the Oqquirh Mountain Utah Temple Open House. That was exactly what I needed that day. The day previous I was informed that my friend's father was murdered and that upset me. I was only praying to know what to do about this problem and I realized that I needed to share the gospel but this was not until after I had already walked through the temple and was flooded with emotions and the spirit that I remembered from the day that my family was sealed in the temple on May 2nd 1996. That was the greatest day of my life. Although I do not remember that day in clarity I remember the spirit I felt there and the emotions it just took that visit to the Oqquirh Mountain temple to remember it all. Well from there we headed up to Wellsville Utah. Okay so there really is not very much there but it was a lot of fun to hang out with the other girls. Friday we had a morningside at the gravesite of Martin Harris and it was great. Then after that we headed to Hyrum Reservoir and played on the water. So to understand the next part of this story you need to know that it was predicted to rain non stop all weekend long. So we all prayed for nice weather so that we can go boating. GUESS WHAT!!! It didn't rain and we went and played on the water but because of the predicted rain I did not bring sunscreen so I borrowed somebody's and I applied it not so liberally. Well, after all the fun in the water and the falling and the laughing I got totally sunburned. Well I didn't just get a normal sunburn I was totally strawberry red and my thighs were purple. I was in A LOT of pain all night and the next and the next nights! I was pretty miserable but it was so worth it. So after that we had a group dinner and a variety show and speakers and it was a great end to a great day. Then after on Saturday we had a service project and we did yard work for our gracious hosts the Schill Family. The results were fantastic! Then cleaned up and I sent my passengers home in another car and I headed for Logan to see my dearest roommate from DC, Erin Cottle. Then I started EFY on Monday!

EFY Salt Lake 1

This is a breakdown of my first week at EFY in Salt Lake. So I had ten fabulous girls they all came as roommates. When I found out that they were assigned as roommates I was really worried at first because I thought they would not mix well together but I was proven wrong right at the beginning. They turned out to be amazing. They were all super talented and had amazing testimonies. They all participated in the musical program except for one. I loved them all so much and I miss them all very much. I hope that they are all doing great things with their lives and sharing the gospel at every opportunity. The boys in my company were boys. They were both a challenge and a strength and support. Our company of Liken All was the best and do not let anybody else tell you differently. My Co-counselor was Jens that week. There was an amazing company of 10 girls and 10 boys. By Wednesday they were very best friends.

ba-da-bada-bah were liken all.

Update on life

It has been forever since I last blogged but here is whats going down in my life lately. I have been working as an EFY counselor and it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I was so blessed to be with the greatest girls in the world. But in May I spent a lot of time helping my mom in her first grade classroom. It was something to do.
